OHIRA Yoshinobu, Visiting Professor of the Organization for Research Initiatives and Development, Doshisha University, and his colleagues presented a paper suggesting effective countermeasures against neuromuscular problems caused by gravitational unloading, or during long term space missions. This paper was written in response to an invitation to a special issue commemorating the first human landing on the Moon.
